Something For The Weekend - 15th January 2016

The last few weeks have been pretty non-stop, going straight from a deep dive into XCOM 2 to one of my all-time favourite RPGs. I’m looking forward to a quieter weekend of simple things - I picked up Tharsis earlier in the week, and fancy getting royally pooched by some fictional dice. Despite knowing I don’t have the patience to properly replay Dragon’s Dogma, it's been thrilling to see people talking about it again. My brief dabble with the PC version does have me pining for more, though - but I think I’ll hold out to see what the modding community cook ups. They've already fixed the most important thing.

I’ll be capturing footage of Disgaea 5 for a video we’re putting up next week, running the very real risk of getting addicted again and ending up sat in my pants at 3am and fretting about Maid subclasses. Hopefully that won’t happen, and instead I’ll be able to spend my nights completing Tharsis, an excellent PC game of Things Going Wrong In Space. It’s a tiny bit pricey for what you’re getting, but I love it anyway.

I've discovered it won't launch without crashing my computer, so for what I'm getting it's phenomenally pricey. It's possibly for the best, I really need to get back into The Witcher 3 before I forget what a monster is.
Oh! Here’s an early heads-up about the next
Live Funwraith Q&A - we’ll be drinking drinks and answering questions at 10pm UK time on the 28th of January. Put it in your diary and tune in if you’re able, it’s usually quite a lot of fun. You can watch the last one we did here. Matt pretended to be a lizard and Quinns was wearing a stupid hat. As I said: drinking drinks.

What are you guys playing this weekend?
